Arthur Miller’s classic, All My Sons, opens at the Raven Theatre this Monday, September 22nd, at 7:30pm. We run Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 3:00pm until November 15th, 2014.. Tickets here.
Set in 1946, All My Sons explores the still-timely issue of war profiteering through the lens of the Keller family. I play Chris Keller, a WWII vet full of survivor guilt amidst controversy surrounding the family production business. Chris’s father, Joe Keller, has been exonerated from the crime of shipping faulty cylinder heads from his plant, a negligent act that lead to the deaths of 21 P-40 fighter plane pilots. Joe’s partner, Steve Deever, is still serving his time for the crime. To complicate matters, Chris is in love with Steve’s daughter, Ann, who was once engaged to Chris’ brother Larry, a soldier who has been MIA since the war. Meanwhile, Ann’s brother, George, has serious doubts about Joe Kellers’s innocence.
In a story that plays out over the course of one fateful August day, Chris gets more than he bargains for.
